Oddpool review: cross-venue Kalshi and Polymarket data, now closed to new paid subscriptions

TL;DR
  • Oddpool offers cross-venue data for Kalshi and Polymarket: free event dashboards, a search engine across both venues, historical charts, paper trading, an AI chat analyst and data APIs.
  • Every page says "Oddpool is joining Kalshi!", and it is no longer accepting new subscriptions. Pro ($30 a month) and Premium ($100 a month) are marked "Not available".
  • New users can still open a free account, which includes the dashboards, paper trading and 1,000 API requests a month.
  • It makes no forecasting accuracy claims of its own. Last checked October 15, 2026.

This Oddpool review covers what the service offers, what is still available to new users, how it handles Kalshi, what can be verified and who it suits. Oddpool review: the joining Kalshi notice

Every Oddpool page carries a banner that reads "Oddpool is joining Kalshi!" The pricing page says "Oddpool is no longer accepting new subscriptions. Existing subscriptions and free accounts continue as normal."

The banner does not link to an announcement, and the newest changelog entry is dated May 6, 2026. The site does not say when the change takes effect, on what terms, or what will happen to the free product. We report only Oddpool's own wording.

What Oddpool does

Oddpool describes itself on the pricing page as "Prediction Market Data for Traders and Builders", with free dashboards for everyone and real-time data across Kalshi and Polymarket. Its features, from its own pages:

  • Cross-venue dashboards. More than 750 event dashboards showing odds from both venues side by side.
  • Search. A search engine across more than 700,000 markets, according to the homepage, plus historical charts.
  • Paid dashboards. A scanner for price differences between venues, price spreads, volume rankings and tracking of trades of $500 or more.
  • Oddbot. An AI chat analyst launched May 6, 2026, which Oddpool says can cite every number it states with a link to the source market. The model behind it is not named.
  • Paper trading. Launched March 15, 2026, with $10,000 in virtual cash; trades settle on the venue's result.
  • Data APIs. REST and WebSocket access, and an institutional product. The institutional page describes capturing every order book change and trade on both venues and mapping the same outcome to one ID across venues.

Oddpool also publishes research articles on market structure, such as a May 28, 2026 piece on the automated quoting behind Kalshi's request-for-quote layer.

Oddpool pricing

Free$0Yes1,000
Pro$30 a monthNo ("Not available")1M
Premium$100 a monthNo ("Not available")5M
EnterpriseCustomBy callUnlimited

According to the pricing FAQ, Pro gave the full dashboard suite (the cross-venue price-difference scanner, price spreads, volume rankings and large-trade tracking) with 3 WebSocket connections, and Premium opened every API endpoint with 10 connections. No yearly price is shown. Payment was through Stripe, and the terms say fees are non-refundable unless the law requires otherwise. Since neither paid plan can be bought today, these details mainly matter to existing subscribers.

Free tier

The free account is the only self-serve option open to new users. The pricing FAQ says it includes more than 750 event dashboards with cross-venue odds, paper trading, the search engine, historical charts, 1 API key with 1,000 requests a month and 1 WebSocket connection, with no credit card required. It also includes about 30 Oddbot chats a month, per the plan table.

Kalshi support

Kalshi is one of Oddpool's two venues, alongside Polymarket, and its dashboards put the two side by side. One useful caution comes from Oddpool's own institutional page: on a sample of 250 matched events, it says only about a third are settlement-fungible (settle the same way) across both venues, and the rest carry a real settlement difference. A price gap between the two venues is not always a like-for-like comparison. For how Kalshi itself works, see our Kalshi review.

What can and cannot be verified

  • No accuracy claims. Oddpool aggregates prices rather than forecasting, and the footer says its data is "Informational only - not financial advice."
  • One unsupported marketing line. The pricing FAQ says Pro users find "hundreds" of cross-venue price-difference opportunities every week. No data or method is given for that figure.
  • Data use limits. The terms license API data for your personal, internal use only and bar using it in a competing product or feed.

Who runs Oddpool

The privacy policy names Oddpool, Inc. The terms are governed by Delaware law and were last updated March 11, 2026. The homepage shows a Y Combinator logo under "Backed by". We found no affiliate program.

Who it suits

Oddpool suits someone who wants to compare Kalshi and Polymarket prices for the same event, look up historical charts, or try paper trading, and the free tier covers that. Developers can test its API within the free tier's 1,000 requests a month. Anyone who wanted the paid dashboards or higher API limits cannot subscribe now. The joining Kalshi notice gives no details, so check Oddpool's site for its current status before relying on it.
