- Bot for Kalshi turns a trading rule you describe in plain English into an automated bot for one Kalshi market. You review the workflow, test it in paper mode, then decide whether it runs with real money.
- One plan: $99 a month, up to 10 live bots. No free trial.
- Kalshi only. It runs on your own Kalshi account through your Kalshi API key; your funds stay at Kalshi.
- It makes no results claims, and says plainly that a bot cannot promise a profit. It is independent of Kalshi. Last checked October 15, 2026.
Disclosure: PredictionsMarket.com earns referral commissions from Kalshi when readers sign up through our links (see our affiliate disclosure). Bot for Kalshi is not a partner and did not pay for or review this page. Not financial advice. Trading involves risk.
This Bot for Kalshi review covers how the tool works, what it costs, what you can try without paying, what it does and does not claim, who runs it and who it suits. It is based on the public pages and legal documents at botforkalshi.com, read on October 15, 2026. Running bots and paper mode need a paid account, so we did not test them. Bot for Kalshi review: how it works
You describe a rule in plain English. An AI model drafts a workflow from it that you can inspect, and you review the market, size and price limit before deciding when the bot may act. The about page describes a bot as "a saved, inspectable rule - not a black box and not a signal service", and sets out the main controls:
- Each bot trades the single Kalshi market you point it at.
- Orders are limit orders by default.
- Contract count, spend and stop conditions are your inputs. The plan lists position, stop-loss and daily-loss controls.
- The plan lists signals, schedules and activity receipts.
- When a bot is live, the hosted engine watches its conditions and sends orders through your own Kalshi API key.
Paper mode models activity in a separate virtual account and sends no real Kalshi orders. A Kalshi API key is needed for both modes: paper mode uses it to read market data, and placing live orders is a separate permission you grant.
The privacy policy names Anthropic as the provider for generative AI processing in the builder and bot instructions. Other providers named there are Stripe, Resend and Google reCAPTCHA.
Bot for Kalshi pricing
| Item | As shown on the site |
|---|---|
| Plan | Complete (one plan) |
| Price | $99 a month, due on signup, renewing monthly until canceled |
| Live bots | Up to 10 |
| Included | Builder, paper testing and hosted operation |
| Free trial | None |
| Exchange fees | Kalshi's own fees still apply |
| Refunds | Partial periods case by case, at its discretion |
Section 5 of the terms (version 3.1, effective July 16, 2026) says the recurring price and any first-payment discount are shown before you authorize payment, and billing runs through Stripe. The privacy policy mentions a discount offer for people who ask for one; we did not see the offer on the public pages. To see what Kalshi's own fees add to a position, use our fee calculator.
Free trial and what you can try free
The homepage says "No free trial" in three places. Without paying, you can draft a rule in a builder preview (running a bot needs account setup and an active plan), use its free tools, or join a free monthly live build webinar.
Venues and Kalshi support
Kalshi is the only venue. Bots run on your own Kalshi account, and the homepage says your funds remain in your Kalshi account. The footer says it is "Not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Kalshi."
Section 8 of the terms puts the burden on you to confirm that your account, location, strategy and use of third-party automation are permitted by Kalshi before connecting an account. If you have not used Kalshi before, our Kalshi review explains how its markets and fees work.
What can and cannot be verified
- No results claims. We found no performance or results figures on the pages checked. Its FAQ answers the question of whether a bot can promise a profit with a plain no, calls the product automation software rather than financial advice, and warns that prediction-market trading can lose money, including quickly.
- Sample screenshots are labelled. The product screenshot on the homepage is marked as sample paper data with synthetic prices and activity.
- Not an advice or managed-account service. The about page says it is a poorer fit for anyone looking for predictions or a managed account, and that it does not tell users what to trade or trade a pooled fund.
- What we could not check. The quality of the drafted workflows and how faithfully the engine follows them; both need a paid account.
Who runs Bot for Kalshi
No company name appears on the pages we checked. The about page says it is "an independently operated software company" funded by its subscriptions, with no advertising, no order-flow arrangement and no revenue share with any exchange or broker. The terms are governed by Utah law, with individual arbitration, a class action waiver and a 30-day opt-out. We found no affiliate program.
Its blog includes a comparison of Kalshi trading bots that includes itself; the about page says such pages state plainly that it publishes them.
Who it suits
Bot for Kalshi suits a Kalshi trader who already has rules they follow by hand, such as entering at a set price or stopping after a set loss, and wants them run automatically with hard limits, on their own account. Paper mode lets you watch a rule before risking money. It does not suit someone looking for ideas about what to trade, anyone outside Kalshi, or anyone who wants to try before paying, since there is no free trial. A rule that runs automatically can also lose money automatically, which is why the position and loss limits matter.
Live Kalshi prices are on our markets page.
